Some days social media is just too much, amiright?
It can be a slog. You get brain drain and have no idea what to post. Haven’t you already posted everything people need to know about your business? Uggggggggghhhhhhhhhh.
But here’s the thing. Social media favours the bold, but it also favours the consistent. I know that it’s the last thing you want to hear but it’s true.
Your audience want to see you as someone reliable. If you are posting every day and then all of a sudden you disappear, no one may notice at first, but when you come back they sure do. And it won’t do a whole lot to build trust in your business.
This doesn’t mean you have to post every day but as long as you are posting consistently (every other day, twice a week, once a week), you are building trust with your audience. Trust and giving free value are at the heart of content marketing and it WILL ALWAYS convert to more sales when you post your product or sales pitch.
So, is social media worth it? In short, yes.
