Stuck in a salesless social media cycle?

sad sales social media cycle

lather. rinse. repeat.

You won’t make consistent sales on social media if you don’t create consistent content.

I GET IT.

ACTION IS THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS.

I don’t care how busy you are, I don’t care what else is going on in your life- if you don’t post (good quality content), you won’t grow. It’s as simple as that.

That might not be what you want to hear but it’s the truth.

Your social media strategy should be created based on your goals, not your convenience.

Go back and read that again.

THE 4 C’S OF CONVERSION

Each season has a different strategy to create content that gets you to your goal. You won’t create the same piece of content to acquire new followers as you do when you are going for the sale.

Consciousness: this phase is to get new audiences. My content needs to be wide-reaching, hook them immediately & show them the value & experience I provide.

Consideration: this content is for our current audience who hasn’t bought from us yet. They are still deciding if we can provide the solution to something that they want. We are focusing on building authority & starting a dialogue with them.

Conversion: This is where we go for the commitment. Whether your goal is to opt them in to your email list, get a discount code or make the actual sale, we are looking to take the next step in our relationship.

Community: Once they have bought from us, we don’t want them to take a hike. A return customer costs a lot less money to convert a second time than someone new. So, we want to promote repeat sales, and use their excitement for us to reach their network. We aren’t just building a community but a damn movement.

Knowing which season you are in, and what kind of content to create, helps you build a stronger content strategy that ultimately will increase your profits and make social media that much less of a mystery.

Pick your conversion goal and see different styles of content and pick from 4 different kinds of prompts based on what is easiest to create and is most applicable for you.

You don’t have to come up with a new idea or overthink it, because you know that everything in that season will get you closer to your goal.

And not only did I add in a calendar with holidays, key dates and celebrations so you can create content that is timely & relevant AND add a guide to writing effective captions that generate more engagement, likes and sales- including a list of high-converting headlines, but I also made the whole thing just $17 to make profitable social media strategy accessible for small businesses.

It’s called Content 365 because you will have a content prompt for every day of the year (and then some!) but the truth is, that you can re-use the same prompts in multiple ways on different offers so you will probably never need to buy another content idea resource again.

Small businesses have enough on their minds, you don’t need to overthink how to create content.

Get ready to a little brain space back and create some strategic content for your small business, check out Content 365.

I’m Laura from Laura Milroy Media

I’m a wife, mama & small business advocate who works with small business owners to sell & scale using social media.

I fell into social media marketing after working in my dream job of film & TV for a few years. I loved how social media could bridge the gap between brand & buyer to actually give customers a voice that the brands could hear, engage with & learn from.

I started by growing the accounts for a group of 5 hotels 10 years ago. While I loved managing their online reputation, I craved working in a less bureaucratic environment.

I selfishly wanted to see the impact of my work effect someone in a big way & not jump through hoops to make one small shift. I was also looking into branching off into my own business and so looked up to the people who had already made the leap; small business owners.
